the sound of F1 cars is music to the ears. miss it now that the whole race is over. think the whole experience was better than Linkin Park. and best of all it was totally free! thought they'd give us sucky seats, but turned out that we could almost see the whole track if we stood from the hill top. the only damper of the day was Schumacher winning...if only Mclaren can get their team together...
Was looking out of the balcony the other day and the clouds over the golf course were just perfect…one streak of white running all across the whole sky plus minor ones below it…then a few clumps at the very end with the dropping sun behind. In a while more, the whole sight was gone, sucked into the darkness of the night. Just makes me wonder the brevity of life with so many of those moments that you wish would never end. But yet the beauty of such moments is in the very fact that they’re sweet and short, leaving you with that bittersweet lingering feeling of wanting more. Guess the F1 race was exactly like that.
acute benign myalgic encephalomyelitis. Apparently these four words, put together, has no meaning at all. yeap, no meaning at all. it was used to explain hysterias that happen in masses. but the Behavioral Science Professor here thinks it's crap. so much for the genius who put those four words together...

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. i hate that kinda feeling. you just feel jumpy and cranky without knowing the cause...

my brother is making me proud. juggling sports, his studies and a girl at the same time. and apparently he's doing well in all three. not bad...
yesterday's slave auction was another disgusting yet memorable incident in the daily mundane life of IMU. seeing Tim and Kitchung as IMCCs isn't rewarding at all, trust me. yucks, the image of Tim with makeup and grace's heels still haunts me. eeewww...at least chiaming was still his pretty, ladybird self. Kitchung was as bad as Tim, worse than the worst bapoks in the whole of Malaysia. God didn't give them manly features for no reason. i now officially own 2 slaves. T J is indeed a loyal one...obeyed my command of bringing an apple for me. shall think of other things for them to do.
i'm half deciding whether to remain single and never get attached. the stories i hear about ppl breaking up, having relationship problems, having fights...yadah~~yadah~~yadah~~just freaks me out. life should be simple with no strings attached to anyone. but hmmm...think i'll wait for the right guy to come along (cliche as it may sound) before i make my other half decision whether to go single or not.
bored...bored...hungry...hungry...waiting for couple of guys to go out for dinner&movie. think bugger of an alex must still be playing computer games. urgh..hate waiting for people.
Is hell Exothermic or Endothermic?
The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington Mechanical Engineering mid term. The answer was so "profound" that the Professor shared it with colleagues, which is why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well. Most of the students wrote Proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law, (gas cools off when it expands and heats up when it is compressed) or some variant. One student, however,
wrote the following: "First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate that souls are moving into Hell and the rate they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume
that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there are more than one of
these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in
order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities:

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. Of course, if Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over. So which is it?

If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa Banyan during my Freshman year, "...that it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you." and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then, #2 cannot be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and
will not freeze."

This student received the only A.

ORIENTATION!! yeap yeap..super fun. but sometimes feel kinda guilty that the juniors are going thru so much shit just because of us sadistic seniors. special mention should be given to the BULL'S EYE used in treasure hunt. for everyone's information the bull's eye was stored in my apartment's freezer for 3 days. din dare to open my freezer for that period of time for fear of a huge eye staring out at me. the day before treasure hunt, we finally took it out to embalm it in a jar. was debating to use plain water or salt water and whether the water used should be isotonic/hypertonic/hypotonic...hai, medic students..but anyway we settled for stale oil which has been in my kitchen for ages. the bull's eye was DISGUSTING! it was still attached to the flesh around it and its eyelashes. the eye itself was bigger than an average tomato. treasure hunt itself was...hmm...i don't know, i have mix feelings for the whole event. really sympathised with the juniors for the things they went through that day. every station stank like mad. i think even a decomposed corpse would smell better. and the eating dogfood and worms part is just disgusting. don't understand how seniors can just stand around and happily command ppl to eat such things.
what's so fascinating about guys' nipples?!?! frying other ppl's nipples with the mosquitoe racket...pinching one another's nipples until they squeak..i think some ppl have nothing better in their lives to make them happy.
met a senior whom i've been seeing around for a year without knowing that we've known each other since form2. quite a failure..couldn't recognise each other at all until he saw my full name in the orientation booklet. i think the world is just too small, or rather, malaysia is too small, or rather, i know too many ppl...or wat the heck...
i think jack is a super capable person and bobby should set up his own filming and editing company. oh and sitting on a guy's shoulder while he jumps and dances around is just super scary.
