URGH...crap happens
one of the worst things that can happen when you've been looking forward all week to 24-7 internet access at home using your own beloved laptop: some stupid virus attack.
am sitting in front of my dad's laptop now mourning the death of my own laptop. it goes as far as the window that requires me to type my password before i proceed, then it just shuts down. some virus called bloodhound.exe URGH! my lecture slides, MMS photos, webpath, CampusFriends stuff, songs, videos, pics...again, i ponder the real wonders of technology

the following is a classic example of brains of medic students gone wrong:

[in the middle of some lame conversation going on among bern, zhao, Q & me]

me: sometimes, i think we just have too much saliva.
bern: (in his all so innocent tone) then good ar...can go donate. the labs need amylase for some experiments, you know.

[this is then followed by pin-drop silence. i thus present to you, IMU future doctors whom you're gonna entrust your dear life with]

A prayer for AQ in Aust: God Lord, the stage is all yours to perform this miracle. remove whatever is foreign to the body and shower blessings and faith into this family. Amen.

I SAW A BARE MALE BUTT
it was utterly disgusting. was walking pass this shop in MidValley and saw this guy with his back facing me. think he dropped something on the floor. before he bent down to pick it up, he looked back to see if anyone was behind him. then, with a swift movement, he bent down to retrieve the object. and HORROR TO HORRORS!! when he bent down, he was wearing such a low waist pair of jeans that his whole butt was revealed. and mind you, HE WASN WEARING ANY UNDIES!!!! Urgh, call the fashion police someone!! and the fact that he actually turned and looked to see if anyone was standing behind him before he bent down shows that he's thoroughly aware that he'll flash his bums once he bends down. it's different from Tim pulling down his pants on purpose in the basketball court (those who wanna check it out, the pic is still in Raymond's h/p i think). er...i can't explain the difference but it IS different!!
on a different matter all together...i'll never understand hamsters...

special thanks to SuAnn who discovered that my hamster was diarrhoea-ing. there was this puddle (literally puddle) of brown, watery shit in it's wheel, and as you know, hamster shit is supposed to come in a dry, cylindrical form. scared me for a while when SuAnn said that hamsters usually die from diarrhoea. funny thing is, my hamster was still happily running around like a mad fur ball, and hopping into its dish waiting for me to feed it. so heeding ann's advice, i cleaned the whole cage using tea tree body wash (with antiseptic properties) hoping to disinfect it so that my hamster won't get recurrent infections. was actually debating whether to add oral rehydration powder into it's water tube. but seeing that she was (like i said) racing about with more energy than ching ling + salena put together, i believe that Hamtan is more hardy than i think she is. but anyway, i think time's almost up for her, since she has been balding. yeap, 2 large bald spots at her hind legs. other than that, she's still pretty much the same.

Down with the languid bug without any cure...
this is getting quite bad. no mood, no drive, no motivation, non-excitable. been in this lackadaisical mood for ages. nothing interests me. it's the same old routine everyday. wake up, think of what to eat for breakfast, think of what to wear, dress up, go uni, spend time trying to concentrate but end up feeling pukish at the sight of notes, then head back home, blast some music to try and uplift my mood...and then sleep again. oh wow, life's wonderful.
If there's a mid-life crisis, then what do you call this? 'post-teen + pre-adult crisis' ? And NO, i'm not going through PMS. even going to church doesn't excite me, and that's really BAD...
anyway, the only thing i'm looking forward to now is HOME. yes...where i can run away from everything, every one, all duties, all expectations. can't wait! good old stinky bed and pillow, piping hot home-cook food, 24-7 internet connection and astro, well-stocked fridge with all kinds to fruits...9 days and counting!
URGH! i think i'm sick of taking up responsibilities and being the dutiful good girl that i know i should be.
moving on...
Thani is a walking papa pat (quote fr Kathleen). forget the fact that his slides are all from papa patho. try asking him questions and he gives super clear explanations. and how can anyone ever be excited by looking at histo slides?!
i love my PBL group (and NO it's not because of Fei's voice). they're the most responsible and diligent bunch of people. in just 2 hours every Thurs, i think i learn more than mon-wed lectures put together. i actually don't mind PBL 2 stretching till 10.30 when the juniors come knocking at the door for the next PBL. Hope they won't change the grouping for Sem5.
and it's back once again to my oh-so-wow-interesting lectures notes...
